Certifications and standards behind every component
BESS
Certificates issued by TÜV NORD and other international bodies. IEC 62619 and IEC 62933-5-2 are among the standards listed in the energy storage provisions of the CNE (National Energy Commission), Mexico's energy regulator.
Generator sets
Manufactured by our international group, a Cummins-certified OEM (CCEC certificate), and authorized Stamford AvK partner. Factory certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; CE marked.
Installation in Mexico
The system is connected in compliance with NOM-001-SEDE-2012, Mexico's electrical installation standard, and the Grid Code, as CNE provisions require. In cogeneration, power quality is measured with a Class A instrument (IEC 61000-4-30).
We share the BESS certificates and test reports with your engineering team, your insurer or your auditor on request.

Ollin means «movement» in Nahuatl
It is the sign at the center of the Aztec Sun Stone: the era we live in is called Nahui Ollin, «four movement.» We chose the name because it is what our technology does. It moves your plant's energy to the right moment, under the rules of the Mexican grid, so the savings show up on your bill. A system developed in Mexico for Mexico's grid deserves a name from here.
Ollin EMS runs the system, the Ollin Platform shows you the results and the Ollin Simulator calculates them from your plant’s data before you sign.
